The Adriatic Coast

The most famous beaches include : Rimini which has an extension of 15 km along the Adriatic Coast and has numerous night clubs, discos, bars and many sports activities. Or, sun tan on the beautiful beaches of Pesaro or Marotta offering both sand and pepple beaches. Or again Fano or Senigallia which is known as the Velvet Beach given its velvet sand. The Marche beaches have been classified as Bandiera Blu ( Blue Flag ) due to their services, environmental impact, water quality and safety.
Lastly, the Conero Riviera, located south of Ancona, which gets its name from Mount Conero, a cape of 572 meters which overlooks this coast line. The Conero Riviera territory is not limited to the coastal beauties , but also offers several inland small towns and cities , which are rich in culture, history and traditions.
